Chiefs sign first-round pick Glenn Dorsey
Chiefs get there guy and have signed first-round DT Glenn Dorsey.
RIVER FALLS, Wis. (AP) — First-round draft pick Glenn Dorsey has agreed to contract terms with the Kansas City Chiefs and was expected at Saturday afternoon’s practice, The Associated Press has learned.
Dorsey, an All-American defensive tackle from LSU, was the fifth overall pick in the draft. A person who requested anonymity because no official announcement had been made said the deal included a guarantee of about $22 million.
The Chiefs have agreed to terms with 11 of their 12 draft picks. Still unsigned is tight end Michael Merritt, a seventh-round selection out of Central Florida.
I must say that Carl Peterson has really impressed me thus far with getting all the picks in pretty much on time.
Now here is a sneak peak of what we are getting.
