Chiefs beat up Broncos - and I am PUMPED!!
It has been SO LONG since I have felt this way I almost forgot what it felt like.
Now THAT is Chiefs football; forcing turnovers, LJ running for big yardage, D. Bowe and Tony G. getting TD’s and beating the Donkeys at home! That is what it is all about!! And it was so good to actually get to talk trash on the Donko fans and then have the Chiefs back it up on the field.
Also, if you weren’t at the game I just want you all to know that Arrowhead was rocking today. It reminded me of the way to used to be and when I say that I’m refering to stuff like it being so loud that I couldn’t hear what my friend, who was yelling in my ear, was saying because it was so loud. Now, it wasn’t that loud today, and I would say that is mainly because the stadium wasn’t full, but the atmosphere was back, and you could tell the players were feeding off of the energy!
I will of course post up tomorow my likes and dislikes of the game tomorrow morning like always, and this weeks the ‘likes’ will be MUCH better than prevous weeks!! That’s al for now… GO CHIEFS!!!!

Wow…what a game to goto! Now THAT’S what the Arrowhead experience is supposed to be like! Hardly getting a chance to sit, yelling at the top of your lungs, banging on the seats and watching the Chiefs WIN!!! We had an absolute blast at the game yesterday. One of the best times I’ve had in recent memory. The atmosphere was unlikely anything I’ve seen there so far this year. Hopefully the team and the fans can keep it up. Our men (didn’t play like boys yesterday) were playing with passion. You didn’t see anyone hanging their head when we gave up a first down or touchdown. They stayed determined and played strong. The linebackers, even Pat Thomas, stepped it up a notch. DJ was all over the field, DeMario Williams was in on a lot of important plays and we actually heard Pat Thomas’ named call on some good plays. It was a much much much improved effort overall and an absolute joy to watch. I just hope the remainder of the home games are that way this year, because THAT game alone was worth the price of the season tickets this year. Way to go Chiefs!
I’m glad you enjoyed yourself Ryan. THAT is how it used to be every home game. Actually if you can believe it, it gets louder.

Where did you guys eat at before this game? More BBQ?
LOL no BBQ this time, we had such a problem with traffic last game that we came extra early and ate a big breakfast across the street at Denny’s. We might hit up some BBQ next game again, 10:30 in the morning seems early to eat BBQ but it’s always good. If you ever make it to Des Moines let me know and I’ll point out some of our good BBQ for you to try.
Yeah, eating BBQ at 10:30 is a little weird at first, but as early as we get there it almost feels like lunch time anyways. Plus it sure beats the heck out of paying $$$ for stadium food.
And yes, if I’m ever in Des Moines I’ll look you up and we can eat some BBQ.
