Looks like all three of these players will enter the 2009 NFL Draft. This shouldn’t really come as a surprise.

The National Football Post | Sources: Wells, Crabtree, Maclin to Declare.

Trusted sources close to the National Football Post have just informed me that Texas Tech wide receiver Michael Crabtree, Ohio State running back Beanie Wells and Missouri wide receiver Jeremy Maclin all intend to declare for the 2009 NFL Draft in the very near future.

Personally I would LOVE to see Crabtree in a Chiefs uniform, but it doesn’t really make sense for the Chiefs to draft him at #3, we have greater needs.

So what do you guys think? Any of these players you would like to see in a Chiefs uniform?

  2. Michael Crabtree makes the most sense for the chiefs draft. With next year’s qb crop it makes most sense for them to get their qb next year and their game breaking wr this year. If anyone watched what Larry Fitzgerald has done in the playoffs or the how Calvin Johnson performed this season they will understand the need for the chiefs to have a Michael Crabtree. Pioli had Moss in NE hopefully he will draft Crabtree with the 3rd pick.
