Training Camp Recap: Monday, 8/11 PM Practice
Another day of camp is done and here is some of what happened.
The Chiefs D-Line of the future made an appearance. Could it be here to stay?
- For several plays during the workout the No. 1 defensive line looked like this, from left to right: Turk McBride, Tank Tyler, Glenn Dorsey and Tamba Hali. That foursome had probably a half-dozen snaps, as the Chiefs were easing Dorsey back into full practice work coming off his knee injury. [Bob Gretz]
It looks like the offense is continuing to click as well.
- Offensively, the nicest play was a bomb from QB Brodie Croyle to WR Dewayne Bowe down the middle that would have gone for big, big yardage in a game. Also, RB Larry Johnson had a nice blitz pick up on one passing play. WR Jabari Arthur had a nice catch and WR Maurice Price did as well. [Bob Gretz]
Is Barth starting to move ahead on the depth chart?
- The kickers worked Monday afternoon, with rookie Connor Barth making all three of his field goal attempts, while Nick Novak was two for three. [Bob Gretz]
