Game Bets: A Broncos fan who lost a bet

So a guy I work with made a bet with another coworker about the Chiefs vs Broncos game. The terms were this: If the Broncos won she had to wear his Shannon Sharpe jersey and if the Chiefs won, he had to wear a Chiefs hat. We all agreed that letting him wear just a hat was letting him off easy, so she brought in a sweater.

This bet was made over the summer and honestly I’m surprised she stuck with it after the way the Chiefs (and Broncos) started the season.  She had a lot of “marbles” to stick with it on this bet.

Oh, I wanted to say one more thing, “HA HA!”

  2. Awesome! When we were walking out I was giving crap to a guy because he was wearing a Bronco’s hat but a Gonzo jersey. Ended up it was a bet also so he had to wear the Chiefs jersey the rest of the day. The overall experience this week was unlikely any other we’ve had there, totally worth every penney, I hope it keeps up the remainder of the year at Arrowhead!

  4. NICE! I would have love to have seen that.

Yeah, Sunday was a great experience. Too bad we have to wait three more weeks for it again. I too hope that we get that same experience many more times this year, it just makes it all worth it.

  6. Hopefully having to wait three weeks will just have the fans that much more worked up. A strong showing this week at Carolina and most likely having both Albert and Croyle back after the Bye week should help too. I do think if Huard somehow comes away with another win this week it will be hard to bench him again, but we really need to see if Croyle can stay healthy. If he gets hurt once more this year I think we need to cut and run. I’ve been a Croyle supporter so far, he has a strong arm and is showing improvement, but that does no good on the sidelines.

  8. It will be a tough call with the QB situation if Huard keeps pulling out W’s. Then you have to decide if you want to win now, or figure out what you have in Croyle before the year is up. Glad I don’t have to make that call.
