Game DayThread - Game 6: Kansas City Chiefs vs Tennessee Titans

So here is game 6:

The Chiefs are 1-4 after they got manhandled by the Panthers two weeks ago and are finally back in the “friendly” confines of Arrowhead Stadium.  This is a big game for both teams, but especially for the Chiefs as they try to bounce back from an embarrassing shutout loss.

One of the keys for the Chiefs will be to make sure their running game gets on track early. This could be very hard to do against the Titans, who have one of, if not the best defense in the NFL right now.

Tennessee will be looking to do a lot of the same things the Chiefs try to do, expect probably do it better. lol… I wish I was joking… But yes, the Titans look to pound the rock and the rely on the strength of their D to keep them in the game.  Take a close look at the Titans today because this is what the Chiefs want to be.

Looking at this from a positive perspective, if the Chiefs can get that running game going (without Larry Johnson) and the defense comes to play and creates some turnovers I think we have a shot here. The Chiefs MUST win the turnover battle if they want to stand a chance.

As always please post any comments, pictures, or whatever in the comment section below before, during or after the game. If you see something that you hated (or loved) let the rest of us know!

I’ll be yelling from my season ticket seats this week, hoping very much for a Chiefs victory.

GO CHIEFS!!

Brodie Croyle says he will start against Tennessee

According to the Red Zone Brodie Croyle will be starting the next game for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Croyle began throwing in individual drills in practice last week and has been cleared for contact.

“If I’m healthy, I’m going to go,” Croyle said today. “I just have to make sure that over the next two weeks that everything keep going the way it’s supposed to be and we don’t have any setbacks. If that’s so, then we’ll be ready to go against Tennessee.”

I am not sure if this is a good or bad thing. The Titans have one of the better defenses (and defensive lines) in the NFL. Albert Haynesworth could have a field day here.

Looking from the other side, I guess if you really want to test Brodie to see if he’ll get hurt again this year this is a great test. If he can survive the Titans maybe that means he is getting tougher? I dunno… I’m just trying to look at it from all angles here.

What do you guys think? Can Croyle make it through the whole game without getting hurt?
