Here are some of the important 2009 off-season dates for your Chiefs.

  • Rookie Mini-Camp: May 8-10
  • Mini-Camp: May 18-19, May 21-22, June 1-2, June 8-9, June 11-12, June 15-18 (OTAs)
  • Mandatory Mini-Camp: June 5-7

Here is some other Chiefs news for you. (Not a lot of ‘news’ out there right now)

Former Baylor wide receiver Thomas White is trying to extend his career to the NFL. Currently he has narrowed his options to the Kansas City Chiefs, the Tennessee Titans, the St. Louis Rams and the Seattle Seahawks.

Actually I take back what I said before, some pretty big news has happened with the Chiefs scouting department and almost everyone was canned immediately after the draft.  Chris over at Arrowhead Pride did a great job on the recent happenings on that subject so go check that out!

According to this ESPN blog by Bill Williamson here some important dates for the Chiefs.

April 17-19 (voluntary minicamp)

May 18-19, May 21-22, June 1-2, June 8-9, June 11-12, June 15-18 (OTAs)

June 5-7 (mandatory minicamp)

Anyone else doubting that we will have an open minicamp this season like we have in years past?
