Romeo Crennel to Chiefs: It Could Happen…
So, it looks like there is an offer on the table for Romeo Crennel to come to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Former Browns coach Romeo Crennel, who recently had hip replacement surgery, has an opportunity to join the Kansas City Chiefs in an unspecified capacity.
New Chiefs coach Todd Haley has an opening on his defensive staff and has not assigned official roles yet to his defensive assistants.
“There’s some fluidity on the defensive side and that’s why I’ve been a little vague on who’s doing what right now,” Haley said at the NFL combine to a direct question about Crennel. “I’m trying to get as many good coaches on my staff as I can. That’s not an area I want to talk about right now.”
So what do you guys think about Romeo Crennel coming to the Chiefs? (We know Ryan has talked about Crennel to the Chiefs before).
You would have to think that if the Chiefs brought in Crennel it would be for the position of defensive coordinator, but you never know I guess.
