I am still letting a lot of these sink in… and I will judge the picks more once they actually hit the field.

Keep in mind that Pioli has a pretty good draft history (particularly with defensive linemen in the first round) so don’t be too quick to judge.

The one word I think about when I see this draft is versatility.

The Chiefs have selected LSU DE Tyson Jackson.

So apparently the rumors were true about the Chiefs being in love with him. I had a feeling the Chiefs would take Tyson Jackson here.

I have to admit that I am slightly surprised with this pick, but as I have said I will trust Pioli until he proves me wrong. Also, this makes the third year in a row the Chiefs took a LSU Tiger with their first overall pick.

Now the question is are the Chiefs done for today or are Pioli and company working on their next move?
